Duke University, Raleigh, North Carolina

One of the many busts in the Capitol building in NC. I did want to take one of Washington, but he was sculpted to look like a Roman Caeser and that was not to my liking so I did Jefferson Davies instead.

House of Representatives in the Old Capitol building. Very grand and old world. No longer in use.

The Library in the old Capitol building of Raleigh NC. Some amazing books and artifacts preserved here. Incredible to have such old - 1770's publications and all the way through the history of NC including the American War of Independence and the Civil War

The Senate in the Capitol building.

This Mustang is specifically for William Tesner and will be one of many Mustangs for him and for me too. Love the Mustang!

Amazing Art piece done with Birch branches as an artifact and as decor in the Art Galeery Coffee shop. Very impressive. Love to have that as a wall in a private aviary. The birds would love it and it would look spectacular too.

Stainless steel tree outside the NC State Gallery. Very impressive.

The 'Green' at Duke University in Raleigh NC. So incredibly impressive. It is a huge campus and all the buildings retain the original architecture.

The interior of the Cathedral as the centre-piece of the Duke University Campus. It is an enormous structure as can be seen by the person standing center. There are 6 massive stained glass windows. Five at the front and one at the rear. Overwhelming in its size and glory. One cannot help but be spiritually impressed and really overwhelmed by its vastness. we were so lucky to be able to listen to an organ recital rehearsal while there and the sound swells and washes over one in a continuous river of majestic sound.

One of the two stained glass windows at the ends of the Transcept. Just magnificent with the sun behind it. Glorious colour.

Taken from the rear just below the huge organ which at that moment was overwhelming us with massive sound and just beautifully played. There is a second organ front right just visible to the right of the transcept.

The glorious Cathedral of Duke University taken from the Green before it just above the magnificent Botanical Gardens of the University. It must be magnificent when the over 200 year-old oaks are in full leaf and the gardens in full bloom. Along with Cornell, Virginia and Harvard, this has to be one of the most impressive stretches of academic architecture I have seen in the USA and anywhere for that matter.
